Worked for Us!
I have spent the last 12 months trapped at home with my screaming crying twin 3 year old girls. If one wasn't having a tantrum the other was. I bought every book about how to talk to your children and peaceful parenting. It didn't help.
I found myself yelling more and more, and eventually so mad about the constant turmoil and seemingly uncontrollable crying fits that I'd be having tantrums along with them. We lived like this for months and months. I lost hope, and thought there was obviously something wrong with me. I went to counselling to try to fix me but that didn't fix our horrible existence at home.

Our pediatrician suggested Dr. Phalen's books, but I dreaded reading another parenting book. I was so happy and relieved to see there were videos. I watched the Tantrums video one Saturday morning, in the midst of screaming toddlers, in 15 minute spurts because that's all I could get. What Dr Phalen said sunk in immediately. And suddenly, I had rational thought when they started up. Suddenly I had a strategic game plan. Suddenly, I knew exactly what I was going to do when they started to wind themselves up. That afternoon, I began to follow his suggestions. And it worked.

It's been 3 weeks now and I can honestly say Tantrums are the exception now rather than expectation. I am calmer, the kids are playful with me and each other and and we are all much happier for it. Thank you!
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
